DVD Review: Special Edition of "Dangerous Divas" featuring
Shark Girl

If you are unfamiliar with the "Dangerous Divas" series by Highspots they feature a special collection of girls custom wrestling matches. Each DVD features one woman wrestler in particular. All of the matches are custom shoots and take place in a wrestling ring with no live crowd. This DVD features the one and only Shark Girl!!.
The DVD starts off with Shark Girl vs Nikki Roxx (prior to her head being shaved).
Nikki dominates the beginning of the match but Shark Girl soon fights back to take the upper hand. Nikki asks the ref "Why do you ask her if she gives up if she doesn't talk?" Very good wrestling by both women. Shark Girl reverses Nikki's finisher into a backslide for the upset.
Shark Girl vs Simply Luscious
After sizing each other up, Luscious takes Shark Girl to the mat, working on her head and neck. Shark Girl reverses, working (and biting) on Luscious' arm. Shark Girl hit a nice modified stunner for a two count but Luscious uses the hair to make a comeback. Luscious then tries to unmask Shark Girl to no avail. Shark Girl fights back and gets several two counts. Luscious counters with numerous chops but Shark Girl hits a bulldog to counter. Simply Luscious with an airplane spin into a DVD for the pinfall. Another very good match.
Shark Girl vs Lorelei Lee
Good chain wrestling to start the match. Tests of strength by both women. Both women spent a majority of the match working on each others arms. Shark Girl went for a suplex but Lee countered with a small package. The ref counted three and declared that both women's shoulders were down.
Shark Girl vs MsChif
Both women exchanged offensive maneuvers for the first few minutes with neither gaining a distinct advantage. MisChif hit a nice side headlock takedown, taking Shark Girl to the mat. Shark Girl countered with a head scissors then a headlock only to be countered by a MisChif scissors. Shark Girl then applied a single leg boston crab but MisChif was able to escape and apply a boston crab of her own. Shark Girl then showed a unique reversal of a test of strength. The two exchanged submission holds until Shark Girl was able to hit a stunner for the pinfall. Once again, excellent wrestling by both women.
Shark Girl vs. Sara Del Ray
Sara Del Ray with an immediate go behind to start the match. Both women reversed the move several times. A quick 2 count for Del Ray. Shark Girl went to work on the arm while Sara Del Ray worked on Shark Girl's leg. Lots of great mat wrestling with the two women battling back and forth with headlocks and scissor holds. Shark Girl hit some beautiful armdrags on Del Ray before Sara put her in a bow and arrow. Shark Girl fought back with a butt bite then a Thesz Press. Some punches and four uppercuts by Shark Girl followed. Shark Girl hit a bulldog for a two count but Del Ray was soon able to hit her finisher for the pinfall.
Overall, I really enjoyed this DVD. After viewing some of the past Dangerous
Divas DVD's, I was under the impression that they were more comedy than
wrestling. This one was all wrestling, and it was good wrestling!
